We would like to inform you that we will stop using Skype and switch to Teams starting May 1st, as Skype will end its service on May 5th. Please check the following details regarding this change:
*Zoom Users
If you are using Zoom, this change will not affect you in any way.
*Skype Users
If you are using Skype, your video setting on Janguage will automatically switch to Teams on Thursday, May 1st. The exact time of the change will be announced in April. All lessons scheduled after the transition will be conducted on Teams.
<Setup>
To take lessons on Teams, you will need a Teams account and must register your Teams invitation link in your Janguage profile. You can find this link in the Teams chat section, labeled “Invite to Teams.” Please add the link to your Janguage account by going to the “Edit Profile” page after logging in.
This section will be available on the “Edit Profile” page starting May 1st, after the transition.
<How to take a lesson on Teams>
After booking a lesson, you will receive a confirmation email containing the teacher’s Teams invitation link. You can also find the same link on the “Booked Lessons” page. Clicking the link will take you to the teacher’s Teams account in the Teams chat section. Please send a message (e.g., “Hello”) so the teacher can identify your account and call you when the lesson begins.
*If your message doesn’t reach the teacher due to a technical issue, the teacher will access your Teams invitation link that you have registered on Janguage in advance. In that case, you will see a “Request” from the teacher in the Teams chat. Please approve the request so the teacher can call you at the scheduled lesson time.
*If you’ve had lessons with the same teacher before, your previous chat with the teacher will appear after clicking the teacher’s Teams invitation link. The teacher will call you when the lesson begins.
Thank you for your understanding.
