SECTION 01

週末しゅうまつに やったことを 話はなす 練習れんしゅうをします。
Let's practice talking about what we did over the weekend.

練習れんしゅう1

先生せんせいと 役割やくわりを 分わけて 対話文たいわぶんを 読よんで みましょう。終おわったら 役割やくわりを 代かえて 読よんで みましょう。
Let's read the dialogue by splitting the roles with your teacher. After finishing, switch roles and read again.

• 土曜日どようびに、上野公園うえのこうえんに 行いきました。 とても 広ひろかった です。
  On Saturday, I went to Ueno Park. It was very spacious.
• いいですね。私わたしは 土曜日どようびに 山下公園やましたこうえんで 散歩さんぽしました。 静しずかな 場所ばしょでした。
  That sounds nice. I took a walk in Yamashita Park on Saturday. It was a quiet place.
• 上野公園うえのこうえんは 静しずかではなかったですよ。 とても 賑にぎやかでした。 日曜日にちようびは 出でかけましたか？
  Ueno Park wasn't quiet at all. It was very lively. Did you go out on Sunday?
• 天気てんきが よくなかったので、出でかけませんでした。　オマルさんは？
  I didn’t go out because the weather wasn’t good. How about you, Omar?
• 私わたしは、仕事しごとが 休やすみではありませんでした。
  I didn’t have the day off from work.

1.名詞文めいしぶん、な形容詞文けいようしぶんの 丁寧形ていねいけいの 過去かこは、「～でした」「～ではなかったです」に なります。
The polite past form for noun and na-adjective sentences is "~deshita" or "~dewanakattadesu".
2.動詞文どうしぶんの 丁寧形ていねいけいの 過去かこは、「～ました」「～ませんでした」に なります。
The polite past form for verb sentences is "~mashita" or "~masendeshita".
3.い形容詞文けいようしぶんの 丁寧形ていねいけいの 過去かこは、「～かったです」「～くなかったです」に なります。
The polite past form for i-adjective sentences is "~kattadesu" or "~kunakattadesu".
※「ではなかったです」は 「ではありませんでした」に 変かえることが できます。また、「では」を 「じゃ」に 変かえることも できます。 「では」より くだけた形かたちです。
You can replace "dewanakattadesu" with "dewaarimasendeshita" or use "ja" instead of "dewa" for a more casual expression.

相手あいてに 同おなじ 質問しつもんを 返かえす ときは 述語じゅつごを 省略しょうりゃくする ことが あります。
When returning the same question to someone, you can omit the predicate.
※オマルさんは(日曜日にちようびは 出でかけましたか)？
How about you, Omar (Did you go out on Sunday)?

先生せんせいと 役割やくわりを 分わけて 対話文たいわぶんを 読よんで みましょう。空欄くうらんには 下したの 言葉ことばの どれかを 使つかいましょう。 終おわったら 役割やくわりを 代かえて 読よんで みましょう。
Let's read the dialogue by splitting the roles with your teacher. Use one of the words below to fill in the blanks. After finishing, switch roles and read again.
※それぞれの 言葉ことばは 必要ひつようであれば 適切てきせつな 形かたちに 変かえましょう
*If necessary, change each word to the appropriate form.

• 先週せんしゅうの 土曜日どようびは ベスさんの 　　　ね。 プレゼントは 　　　か？
  Last Saturday was your birthday, right? Did you receive any presents?
• はい。友達ともだちが マフラーを 　　　。 パーティーは とても 　　　です。 ジョーさんは 週末しゅうまつは どこかに 　　　か？
  Yes. My friend gave me a scarf. The party was really fun. Did you go anywhere over the weekend?
• 日本語能力試験にほんごのうりょくしけん N1を 　　　。 内容ないようは 　　　。
  I took the JLPT N1 exam. It wasn’t easy.
• そりゃそうですよ。 私わたしも 昨年きょねんまで 　　　。 合格ごうかくするのは 　　　。
  Of course not. I couldn’t pass until last year. Passing N1 isn’t easy.

「そりゃそうですよ」は 「当然とうぜんですよ」という 意味いみです。
“soryasoudesuyo” means “Of course.”

空欄くうらんに (　)の 中なかの 文字もじから 始はじまる 述語じゅつごを 入いれて 読よんで みましょう。
Let's fill in the blanks with predicates that start with the letters inside the parentheses and read the sentences.

• 1)先週せんしゅうの土曜日どようびに 高校こうこうの 友達ともだちと (あ)　　　　。
  I met my high school friends last Saturday.
• 2)先週せんしゅうの土曜日どようびは 冬ふゆなのに (さ)　　　　。
  It wasn't cold last Saturday, even though it's winter.
• 3)先週せんしゅうの土曜日どようびに 図書館としょかんで 本ほんを (か)　　　　。
  I borrowed a book from the library last Saturday.
• 4)土曜日どようびの夜よる、 家いえに 友達ともだちが (き)　　　　。
  My friend came to my house on Saturday night.

先生せんせいに 先週末せんしゅうまつに やったことを 聞きいて下ください。質問しつもんを 2つ しましょう。
Ask your teacher what he/she did last weekend. Ask two questions.
